Job Description

The Brand Manager Rheumatology assists in the development of annual marketing plans coordinates the successful implementation and longterm growth of sales profit and market share for assigned products within the context of the overall Corporate Business Plan. 

You will lead and support the development translation and of a multichannel marketing strategy to ensure strategic and business objectives are met. 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development and of strategically aligned commercial initiatives in AbbVie.
  • Facilitate and lead agile project teams incorporating external stakeholders
  • Develop strategic relationships with internal and external customers to gather insights and help guide business decisions.
  • Participate in the development of marketing objectives and brand strategies and their aligned tactics.
  • Drive delivery of new customer insights to enhance and build on brand innovation.
  • Work with brand and sales teams to execute brand strategy.
  • Work with brand and sales team to implement omnichannel strategies incorporating traditional and digital channels
  • Navigate internal process to ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts legal demands and ethical standards while delivering on deadlines.
  • Achieve sales and market share annual goals.
  • Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVies policies and procedures.
  • Proactively participate in AbbVies WHS programs adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times.
  • Adhere to AbbVies internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
  • Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties as requested. 

Qualifications :

  • Tertiary qualification in business or science related field
  • Minimum 2 years healthcare/marketing experience within Pharmaceutical industry 
  • Fully Conversant in Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
  • Experience and success in deploying brand tactics to sales force with demonstrated excellence in
  • Strong planning skills digital marketing experience and success in Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals sales with preference in Specialty Care 
  • Good knowledge of computerbased programs including spreadsheets and power point.
  • Attend regular departmental meetings with manager/supervisor to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Meet the requirements of ISO and Class A by complying with all relevant Quality policies and procedures to ensure the Quality objectives of the business are met.
  • Comply with all relevant company Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies procedures and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimising accidental exposures to
  • self colleagues and/or the environment.
