We are seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our growing firm.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Will have 4 6 years of California Litigation experience
Preferred experience includes handling litigious matters inbusiness employment and Insurance law.
Prepare subpoenas manage document productions and maintain records.
Ensure effective communication with attorneys staff clients courts and external vendors.
Primarily support litigation cases involving business employment and insurance matters.
Assist with nonlitigation projects such as document analysis chart creation jurisdictional research and expert information gathering.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency in ediscovery including platform administration and document production management.
Trial experience including preparation of pretrial pleadings exhibits and witness lists and providing support during and after trial.
Litigation support at depositions trials mediations and arbitrations.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word 2010 or later) Excel Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Experience with document management systems such as iManage is a plus.
Extensive knowledge of civil litigation procedures including client document organization privileged document redaction and preparing court filings.
Expertise in reviewing discovery documents summarizing depositions preparing discovery responses and analyzing medical and billing records with pageline summaries.
