Office of Childrens Services (OCS)is
recruiting for a fulltime Administrative Operations Manager 2
located in
Juneau or Anchorage Alaska.


What You Will Be Doing
The Administrative Operations Manager 2 (AOM 2 is part of a dynamic team in the Office of Childrens Services Directors Office. The AOM 2 is responsible for direction oversight and setting statewide policy controls and procedures for the OCS administrative budgetary and financial functions. The position is a part of the divisions senior management team which makes recommendations on division goals and policies regulations short and longrange planning and efficient management of division resources. The AOM 2 provides ongoing professional financial and administrative support and consultative services to the OCS central and four regional offices. The incumbent coordinates responses to legislative inquiries and works with the divisions legislative liaison to prepare fiscal notes. The AOM 2 sits on departmentwide committees and workgroups related to the development of crossdivisional administrative and programmatic projects.

This position is located in the Goldstein Building in vibrant downtown Juneau near Alaska State Capitol Building Court House Governors mansion State and City Museums and within walking distance to various Restaurants Coffee shops and Gift stores.

Located in our Anchorage State Office in Midtown a central location to easily access all of Anchorage within a reasonable distance.

Who We Are Looking For
In addition to the Minimum Qualifications below we are looking for a candidate with the following competencies:
