Job Description

Job Title: Head Operations & Administration (Park Head)
Location: Chennai

Position Summary:

The Head of Operations & Administration is responsible for the comprehensive management of the park ensuring a safe enjoyable and exceptional experience for both guests and associates. This role requires a strategic and handson approach to overseeing park operations driving revenue ensuring health and safety and leading a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Management 50:

  • Set and manage budgetary and cost control strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance to enhance revenue streams and control costs improving the overall P&L of the park.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies focused on guest satisfaction and employee engagement.

Talent and Team Development 25:

  • Lead and develop staff teams through performance management training and professional development.
  • Foster a culture of safety fun and growth within the organization.
  • Manage HR activities including recruitment training and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with people processes by establishing team norms clarifying roles and aligning with branch heads goals.
  • Implement performance management systems set timely goals and create a culture of appreciation and recognition.
  • Inspire and motivate teams with a forwardthinking and ambitious outlook.

Guest Experience and Strategic Vision 25:

  • Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction (NPS) and enhance the park experience.
  • Introduce new events and experiences for park visitors to keep offerings fresh and engaging.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to ensure operational efficiency and high standards of service.
  • Keep abreast of competition and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure efficient park operations maintaining high standards for staff performance and equipment functionality.
  • Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong commercial acumen leadership skills and a customercentric approach with experience managing a P&L of 50 Cr.
  • Proficiency in Tamil (mandatorywritten and spoken) and knowledge of local authorities (mandatory).
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing with a track record of improving guest experience metrics.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with local government authorities and external partners.
  • Experience liaising with contractors and vendors to ensure highquality service delivery while adhering to safety IMS statutory and legal norms.
