The ElectroMechanical Technician Level 4 is responsible for the daytoday troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance AGVs and conveyor equipment on site. Acts as a senior material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Palmdale CA site location. Aids and mentors lowerlevel employees. 1st shift/10am10pm on a rotating roster. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $35 to $39.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do in This Role
- Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including tasks such as belt tracking component adjustment/replacement and component lubrication.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines documentation and procedures to ensure efficient equipment performance.
- Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuitry.
- Construct and complete work orders within the asset management system recording indepth data on labor hours equipment maintenance and parts employed.
- Troubleshoot conveyance issues and figure out resources needed to resolve them successfully.
- Locate and track spare parts inventory to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure all systems meet strict specifications.
- Assist with training customers to confidently operate equipment.
- Respond promptly to service calls and address equipment failures and faults accurately.
- Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to resolve them efficiently.
What We Are Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required. An Associates degree or vocational technical training is preferred and specialized skill training/certification is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrates a seniorlevel knowledge possessing 57 years of experience in a technical or specialty area.
- Proven experience in area of responsibility with a successful track record of performing the key tasks listed above.
- Strong customerfacing skills maintaining professional communication through email and inperson interactions with onsite customer leadership Dematic leadership and technicians.
- Ability to lead projects manage teams and direct daytoday operations and tasks for the onsite maintenance team.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds each.
- Regular bending lifting stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
- Capability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitations.
- Must be comfortable working in different conditions such as tight spaces dust fumes/odors hot/cold temperatures loud noises and wet or uneven surfaces.
