Market Scan is a team within the Mobility division at S&P Global.

The Tier Two Performance Manager will report to the Director of Performance Management.

As a Market Scan Tier Two Performance Manager you will be accountable for dealer preservation on all Market Scan products and working with sales to renew existing users. All Tier Two Performance Managers must have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a deep understanding of the automotive industry. Managing 125 accounts organization and multitasking is a must. Great communication skills necessary as conversations will be had via phone and online webinars.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Managing all assigned accounts while working remotely or at Camarillo Corporate office.
  • Create longlasting working relationship with each assigned dealership. Make sure all users are trained and utilizing products to best understand functionality.
  • Utilize provided resources to keep updated notes and records of each customers growth and areas of potential growth opportunities.
  • Engage with up to 140 accounts on a monthly basis. Discussing best practices for product usage implementation within the individual dealership
  • Overseeing dealership usage metrics and trends to determine a potential atrisk account. Proactively engage with this account to avoid potential cancellation of services.
  • Maintain a good relationship with other departments of Market Scan Information Systems.
  • Collaborate with other Performance Managers on best dealer practices for all Market Scan Information Systems Clients.
  • Proficient in training oneonone with our dealer accounts.
  • Travel and do onsite dealer visits Corporate/ OEM training and also NADA Academy training when necessary.
  • Expected to train and coach new and existing Performance Managers.
  • Manager of Performance Management may be invited to NADA or other conventions to speak train coach and teach both our dealer partners as well as MSIS staff.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 5 Years in the automotive retail sector. Desking managers Finance Manager Sales professional or Sales Manager roles.
  • Demonstrated understanding of inner workings of dealership process. Including sales process financing methods (rebates & incentives) and desking procedures.
  • Ability to travel locally to Dealers and occasional longer distance travel

Essential Skills:

  • Effective timely communicator. Responding to client and leadership requests in a timely fashion.
  • Motivated gogetter selfconfident personality. Ability to be persistent in working to maintain the best relationships with Market Scans client base.
  • A solutions driven mindset and ability to respectfully challenge dealers in their way of thinking when it comes to product utilization and in the case of a potential dealer cancellation.
  • Capacity to multitask in a potential high demand environment.
  • Selforganizational and an attention to details is a must.
