Postdoctoral Associate
Dr. Kendall Nettles laboratory at The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology in Jupiter Florida Department of Immunology and Microbiology is seeking outstanding creative independent and highly motivated postdocs. This Postdoctoral position with the Nettles lab is project focused. The goal of the project is to use chemical biology structurebased design and multiomics to understand the mechanism of action of new therapies for prostate cancer and develop improved drug candidates. The requirements for the postdoctoral fellow are some combination of skills in molecular biology and cancer biology small molecule screening and pharmacology bioinformatics and statistics or computational chemistry and structural biology. Willingness to learn or existing expertise in python R molecular dynamics simulations or machine learning is advantageous.
Commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. (or MD/PhD) in biological sciences such as chemical biology immunology molecular biology cell biology or biochemistry.
