Job Description

Join Amazons Global Logistics Network design team to revolutionize our international supply chain. Youll lead strategic initiatives that enhance our worldwide customer experience focusing on EU Canada Mexico and Japan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of ecommerce logistics through innovative network modeling operational process design and impactful recommendations. Your expertise will drive cost reduction improve lead times and optimize inventory flows on a global scale.

Key job responsibilities
Develop network models and optimization solvers to enhance inbound strategy

Perform creative analysis using incomplete data to address strategic business questions
Transform abstract concepts into major investment recommendations
Optimize global inventory flows to maximize reliability speed and costeffectiveness
Communicate strategic recommendations to executivelevel sponsors

A day in the life
Youll collaborate with diverse stakeholders across multiple time zones diving deep into data and analytics to solve complex supply chain challenges. Your day might involve refining network models analyzing global logistics data or preparing compelling presentations for executive leadership. Youll balance strategic thinking with practical implementation always keeping the customer experience at the forefront of your decisions.

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
5 years of owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
Bachelors degree in supply chain management operations engineering analytics or related field
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.
Experience with SQL and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R SAS or Matlab)
Proven experience in an ecommerce distribution environment
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Advanced analytical skills and business judgment

Masters degree
2 years of driving process improvements experience
Experience with Python

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
