Overview:
We are the Conversational Cloud Core team at LivePerson responsible for designing and implementing the core of the messaging ecosystem from backend to frontend.
Our team consists of 60 engineers located across the globe including the USA Bulgaria Germany Israel and France.
We are seeking a full stack Senior Software Developer to join our team. In this role you will work in a fastpaced environment on projects spanning multiple areas of the company helping to enhance and simplify how brands engage with their customers through messaging.
We are looking for a smart individual who wants to do more than just manage but also shape and innovate!
In this role you will have the opportunity to (your tasks):
- Build the platform that serves the real time monitoring needs of our customers
- Design and develop highvolume lowlatency applications for important systems and delivering highavailability and performance
- Create complex highperformance backend services using Java and .
- Design and optimize efficient userfriendly frontend applications.
- Develop technical specifications and documentation
- Debug production issues and help maintain existing code
Here are some of the things youll bring (requirements):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development engineering.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Programming skills in Java Frontend development.
- Experience with Git Jenkins and other Development tools
- Experience debugging/testing applications
- Experience building RESTful microservices
- Familiar with basic Devops tasks for deploying applications in dev/test environments
- Experience working with public cloud platforms like AWS / GCP is a plus
- Experience in Kubernetes
- Willingness to participate in paid oncall duty in alignment with our You Build It You Run It philosophy.
- A strong sense of quality personal responsibility and a passion for development.
