Job Description

This position will be part of the Conversational Ad Experiences team within the Amazon Advertising organization. Our crossfunctional team focuses on designing developing and launching innovative ad experiences delivered to shoppers in conversational contexts. We utilize leadingedge engineering and science technologies in generative AI to help shoppers discover new products and brands through intuitive conversational multiturn interfaces. We also empower advertisers to reach shoppers using their own voice to explain and demonstrate how their products meet shoppers needs. We collaborate with various teams across multiple Amazon organizations to push the boundary of whats possible in these fields.
As a full stack software developer in this role you will have the opportunity to partner with various teams within Amazon to contribute to this new experience build new widget experience impacting millions of shoppers. You will have an opportunity to work with SDEs Applied Scientists PMs UX to build new experiences. Along the way youll learn a lot have fun and make a positive impact on millions of customers.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design
Sharp problem solving skills and ability to convert ambiguous requirements to structured solutions and actions
Experience communicating requirements and technical designs with both technical and nontechnical audience including leadership
Experience with React React Native Javascript and/or Typescript is a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
