Southeastern Louisiana Universitys Department of Psychology invites applications for a fulltime Instructor position beginning June 2025. The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduate courses in psychology mentor and advise undergraduate students and performdepartmental college and university service. The candidate also will serve as the Undergraduate Coordinator for the department. The Undergraduate Coordinator serves a key role in retention and progression efforts and assists students in career exploration and in meeting academic goals.
Southeastern Louisiana University is located in Hammond less than 50 miles from the metropolitan centers of Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Southeastern has an undergraduate enrollment of more than 13000. The Department of Psychology has approximately 500 undergraduate majors and 30 students in our masters degree program. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in Psychology from an accredited university is required by hire date
PREFERRED QUALIFICIATIONS
Preference will be to those candidates with expertise that complements the strengths of the department
Successful college teaching experience at the undergraduate level
