Our systems process millions of critical decisions daily bringing Amazons inventory closer to customers. We have built our products entirely inhouse fostering innovative gamechanging ideas in reinforcement learning and largescale optimization technology.
We are looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial Principal Product Manager Technical to own the roadmap and feature delivery for one of Amazons key inventory placement systems. As a technical product owner you will define test and launch significant features that improve the quality of our systems decisions and drive business outcomes. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of engineers and research scientists on system architecture and algorithm development. Additionally you will engage with a wide range of technical teams and business stakeholders across Amazons global operations.
Key job responsibilities Candidates should have a proven track record of owning strategic products from concept to launch demonstrate strong customer focus and business judgment and possess the skills to break down complex ideas into executable features and distinct phases.
Key Job Responsibilities: Define a creative highquality longterm product roadmap based on team strategy and vision. Develop detailed business requirements for the science solution drive architectural choices and support technical design. Create buyin for the product vision and strategy among stakeholders technical and leadership teams. Drive product launches in concert with engineering science and analytics teams.
Bachelors degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science engineering statistics Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience technical product management Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders Experience owning datacentric products
Proven experience in deploying and scaling machine learning production models or largescale optimization systems
