Blink is looking for a senior embedded engineering leader to support our current generation of products and lead blink device software for our next hardware generation. To succeed in this role you will be a senior leader experienced in building consumer electronic devices. You will understand power management and understand how to make risk trade offs on design staffing requirements and time. You will work across partner team located across the world and together the next generation of blink devices and services.
Key job responsibilities
As a leader of leaders build and develop an organization that includes software managers and engineers including hiring retention performance management mentoring and capability/skill development.
Lead architecture design implementation and operational support of tools and services.
Evaluate complex business and technical requirements and communicate inherent risks and solutions to technical and nontechnical business owners and internal/external customers.
Own embedded engineering roadmap and deliverables work with customers and stakeholders to determine priorities manage dependencies and risks.
Establish a high bar and relentlessly improve software design operations and engineering processes to delight customers
