What youll do...
The Walmart Dairy Plant in Fort Wayne IN is one of the largest Milk Processing Plants in the United States. We provide our customers with the freshest highquality milk at everyday low prices for families. We are seeking to hire an experienced Maintenance Tech/Maintenance Mechanic with industrial maintenance experience to answer maintenance calls throughout the facility troubleshoot and repair automated machines and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machines.

Job Duties:
- Read and understand technical drawings i.e. blueprints electronic mechanical schematics to repair maintain equipment Troubleshoot complex problems with equipment where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment i.e. lift trucks pneumatic systems material handling equipment hydraulic equipment dock equipment electronic and electrical equipment etc. according to procedures.
- Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Complete work orders records logs and other written or computer based documents according to established procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment battery equipment moving machinery and other powered equipment
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback
- Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices
