The Department of Political Science at Indiana UniversityBloomington invites applications for a fulltime Tenure/Tenuretrack Open Rank position in the field of American Politics beginning August of 2025. Our goal is to hire the strongest candidate available who is doing interesting and important scholarship in this field and who can contribute to the Departments mission and campuss strengths in social sciences. Candidates should demonstrate active research agendas with the promise for publication in highquality venues and strong teaching credentials. In addition to maintaining an ongoing research program this faculty member would be expected to teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and to participate actively in departmental activities. Successful candidates will have completed their Ph.D. degree in Political Science by August 1 2025.
