Schedule: 3 x 12 hour shifts 36 hours/week
$5000 Signon bonus
Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and patientfocused Clinical Care Attendant to join our Express Care Clinic. In this role you will support healthcare providers in delivering efficient and highquality care to patients seeking immediate medical attention. This is a fastpaced position that requires excellent communication skills attention to detail and a compassionate approach to patient care. The role requires Certified Medical Assistant Paramedic EMT or LPN certification/licensure as direct patient care is the major component of this role.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations treatments and minor procedures.
- Record vital signs patient history and symptoms accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Prepare examination rooms ensuring they are clean stocked and ready for use.
- Administer basic treatments such as wound care splinting and administering injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Provide patients with postvisit instructions and guidance on followup care.
- Assist with diagnostic tests such as collecting lab specimens or performing EKGs under the direction of medical staff.
- Facilitate patient flow by ensuring timely rooming of patients and managing appointment schedules.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and provide education on selfcare and health maintenance.
- Ensure the clinic complies with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments handling referrals and answering patient inquiries.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program and current licensure/certification for your scope of practice.
- LPN EMT Paramedic or CMA will be considered for this position.
- 12 years work experience in a Family Practice setting Urgent Care or related field required.
- BLS and Mandatory Reporter.
