We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our ecommerce IT team.
With your strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex release processes you will support creation of the kind ecommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills a keen eye for detail and a proven track record of ensuring successful software releases. It would be beneficial if the candidate has a detailed understanding of business processes in the CPQ area and can apply this knowledge to shape and align IT solutions/services in Hitachi Energy business solutions.
In this role you will have an opportunity to work with multiple IT teams and business stakeholders.
How you will make an impact:
Release Planning and Coordination:Plan and manage the release schedule for multiple projects ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including development QA and operations to ensure smooth and timely releases.
Develop and maintain release management processes and documentation.
Monitor and report on release progress identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
Stakeholder Management:Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure their requirements are understood and met.
Gap Analysis:Identify gaps between current processes and desired outcomes and propose solutions to bridge these gaps.
Risk Management:Assess potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Continuous Improvement:Continuously monitor and evaluate release processes to identify opportunities for further improvement. Conduct postrelease reviews and implement improvements based on feedback and lessons learned.
Your background
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
min. 8 years of experience in IT 5 Years experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge and handson experience with some of the technologies: Mulesoft SAP CPQ SFDC (Salesforce) and Conga.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to learn and understand complex business processes
