Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly and we are looking for Operational Security Specialist Interns to join our expanding Data Center team in London UK.
As a Data Center Operational Security Specialist Intern you will be tasked with driving operational security excellence within our Data Centers. You will write reports create presentations and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.
As an intern you will participate in our 12week internship program in our London Data Centers.

Duties & Responsibilities
Interface and direct vendors involved in new security construction repairs daily security operations and patrols and planning.
Extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at hard data.
Make suggestions on improving electronic surveillance and access controls.
Direct efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions.
Amazon does not sponsor for immigration including for H1B TN and other nonimmigrant visas for this role.
Amazon internships are fulltime 40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks in Summer 2025. This position requires the intern to report to work onsite on a daily basis. Intern schedules are typically day schedules MondayFriday. A full time position could involve day evening or weekend shifts and oncall rotations.

Desire to work in a facility observing security gaps in physical barriers security officer procedure policies surveillance equipment and alarm points.
Ability to write detailed reports.
