SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is seeking Equipment Operators to join our growing civil site pipe crews in Hagerstown MD and surrounding areas including Clarksburg Frederick MD and Winchester VA. Ideal candidates will have prior experience operating loaders and backhoes a strong work ethic a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
GENERAL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
- Operates various heavy equipment in compliance with Kinsleys safety standards.
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of construction practices and site requirements.
- Ensures equipment is maintained through regular checks and servicing.
- Performs additional responsibilities as necessary to support the team and achieve project goals.
GRADER OPERATOR
- Operates a grader to achieve precise finish grading.
- Conducts regular maintenance and inspections to keep equipment in good working condition.
- Adheres to all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Assists with other duties required to meet project objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as track loaders graders or similar machinery.
- Knowledge of underground utilities and general construction processes.
- Strong work ethic reliability and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and contributing to a safe job site environment.
- Punctuality and dependability are essential.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to pass a preemployment DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
