Location/Division Specific Information

This position will be REMOTE supporting a BPG location (Grand Island and Greenville SC). Alternative locations may be considered.

    Discover Impactful Work:

    As a Sr Supply Chain Specialist you will evaluate prioritize business initiatives and related master data requirements developing projects to improve the quality and management of businesscritical data. Through multifunctional partnerships you will install data governance mechanisms for assigned business units in the Bioproduction group. You will drive productivity and enhance our master data by implementing improvement projects. You will engage with global domain authorities to resolve data challenges.

      A Day in the Life:

      • Partner with master data & business unit leadership to prioritize & resource data projects aligned with key business priorities.

      • Your remit will span the range of data from order intake to order fulfillment. Independently lead multifunctional high impact projects.

      • Drive project scope resourcing and project plans with clear ownership and due dates. Coordinate project team members meetings & actions.

      • Collaborate with data owners on data gathering analysis socialization of solutions and publication of data standards. Encourage functional data stewardship.

      • Partner with support teams including data analytics data management and data governance to apply their expertise in BPG driving consistency of practices.

      • Create performance indicators measuring impact of projects. Communicate challenges work with leadership to eliminate obstacles.

      • Coordinate updates of business processes & I/T system data. Collaborate with process owners to transfer outcomes to standard business process. Ensure training occurs with new practices. Coordinate BPG data standard repository using tools including data catalogs and Microsoft Sharepoint.

      Keys to Success:

      Education

      • Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management or similiar field.

      • Project management process improvement training preferred.

      Experience

      • 35 years of relevant supply chain materials management or master data experience required.

      • Knowledge/experience using data driven systems across the order fulfillment continuum.

      Knowledge Skills Abilities

      • Able to identify data requirements to enable strategy & achievement of goals & objectives.

      • Demonstrate understanding of use of data driven processes & systems. Understand system integration impact on internal & external processes.

      • Able to lead multiple projects across people sites & systems. Able to break down problems and projects into manageable goals.

      • Ability to connect with a diverse group including executives managers and endusers. Skilled in problem solving teamwork and facilitation.

      • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.

      • Effective time management and prioritization skills.

      Compensation and Benefits

      The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $93800.00$140675.00.

      This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on which includes:
