Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). The Kuiper Global Capacity Planning team owns designing implementing and operating systems that support the planning management and optimization of Kuiper network resources worldwide. We are looking for a talented product manager to lead the vision strategy and roadmap for inventory planning simulation and optimization. This effort will be instrumental in helping Kuiper execute on its business plans globally. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities In this role you will: Set longterm vision strategy and processes to generate the inventory plan Work closely with Scientists to deliver your vision. Dive deep on internal and external customer data and feedback and ensure the team makes the right tradeoffs and protects high standards on behalf of the customer. Move fast innovate and find ways to simplify. Define business and systems requirements working with internal and external customers. Create effective ways of measuring the performance of your solutions and surface new opportunities for improvement.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Bachelors degree Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience technical product management
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement Experience with simulators or MLpowered products.
