This position will be based out of an Amazon corporate office and requires the ability to travel periodically.
The US Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) Program has built worldclass Middle Mile operations which rely on an exceptional pool of carriers who work relentlessly to meet our customers expectations. TRC is looking for a highjudgment individual to join us as an Audit & Compliance Manager to assess AFPs compliance against contractual and legal requirements and drive a compliance culture both internally and externally.
We are looking for an individual with strong audit experience preferably in transport who can apply their expertise to 1 conduct and manage thorough carrier assessments 2 identify compliance financial regulatory and reputational risks at carrier and control level and propose riskmitigation solutions and 3 deliver detailed finding and recommendation reports for both carriers and business teams (e.g. Legal AFP Operations etc.. The successful candidate will have exceptional investigation and attention to details aptitudes as well as strong datadriven mindset and capabilities but also excellent soft skills for building trustworthy relationships with stakeholders peers and carriers. Finally the successful candidate will display good team spirit and autonomy.

Key job responsibilities
Audit AFPs to verify that they operate compliantly with contractual legal and regulatory requirements
Provide precise audit reports to carriers with clear finding details and actionable short/mid/longterm corrective and preventative action items thus helping them achieve and maintain compliance requirements
Provide thorough finding and recommendation reports to senior management and business partners at both carrier and control level
Investigate suspicious carrier activity and behavior that could pose a risk to Amazon our customers or the society at large
Meet individual and team goals with the highest standards and diligence
Achieve audit productivity and quality standards
Lead and/or participate in special projects and/or assignments as necessary
A day in the life
There are no two days completely alike in this role but most will include:
Conducting and/or managing audits working collaboratively with e.g. Global Solutions Risk and Compliance Legal and AFP Operations
Delivering audit reports inclusive of compliancedriving recommendations
Attending team and stakeholder meetings to drive a compliance culture in and out of the organization
Supporting AFPs with their compliance questions or doubts
Working on special projects and/or initiatives to attain team/individual goals

TRCs mission is to empower Amazons transportation business and its partners to do the right thing for the community at large with a vision to inform decisionmaking that drives business growth through worldclass scalable risk management solutions. Through ongoing compliance monitoring and risk management activities we provide transportation leaders like AFP Leadership with the data they need to make informed risk management decisions.
3 years of compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience
Experience handling confidential information
Excellent English communication abilities both written and verbal
Working knowledge of US transportation and contractual laws and regulations
Exceptional attention to detail with a problemsolving mindset
Ability to work under pressure handle stress and deliver highstandard results quickly
Ability to work with teams both remotely and inperson with the highest levels of team spirit and integrity
Escalation management experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
