Diagnostics Technician
St. Lukes Cataract & Laser Institute is looking to hire a fulltimeDiagnostics Technicianto join our team at ourSpring Hilllocation.

About the Position
This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate who is eager to join our team in providing exceptional care to our patients in our growing practice.
The Diagnostic Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic testing on patients such as fundus photography OCTs and visual fields. This position has the potential opportunity for growth with assisting Ophthalmologists and Optometrists by performing ophthalmic clinical functions as necessary including patient work ups.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining equipment and rooms in working conditions
  • Performing test based on the physicians orders
  • Perform visual field
  • Perform OCT
  • Fundus Photography
  • Slit Lamp Photography
  • Timely and efficient transferring test results into electronic medical records
  • Update patient records using high level of proficiency within our EMS system
What do we look for
  • Diagnostic experience in eyes is highly preferred
  • Must have strong customer service skills and experience
  • Must have the ability to multitask and demonstrateattention to detail
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively with patients peers supervisors and team
  • Must be mobile in an office environment; frequent standing sitting and walking
