You are passionate owner about customer and societal impact and drive the technology forward and operate at all levels diving deep into the details and provide key input into the product. You will be working across multiple organizations and services within Amazon to deliver the unique experience that we are creating.

About the team
This Alexa Smart Home GUI team is responsible for building new experiences for existing and upcoming Multimodal and Fire TV devices.

2 years of noninternship professional software development experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence
4 years of Android development experience
Experience with Android and React Native development
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work in ambiguous environments
Passion for creating customercentric solutions
Excellent collaboration and communication skills

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience programming with at least one modern languages such as Java Kotlin C or equivalent objectoriented languages. Further experience with AWS or equivalent cloud technologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
