Bosch Communications Systems has an exciting opportunity for you! Do you have a background in the Pro AV industry end user business development experience and vertical knowledge in specific areas like large event spaces arenas theatres etc. As a Business Development Manager you will collaborate closely with our Product Experts Marketing and Regional Sales teams while showcasing best in class solutions from Bosch Integrated Audio Brands. The Integrated Audio team has primary responsibility for celebrated brands like ElectroVoice Dynacord and Bosch products being sold through our Reseller and Integrator channel network in North America.
We are looking for Business Development Manager that resides in the Northeast region of the US within a commutable distance of a major airport.
Key Responsibilities
- Through proper planning you will prospect manage and close new end user opportunities
- Proactively engage all stakeholders needed to turn opportunities into sales
- Collaborate closely with all sales managers and field sales engineers to deliver strategic growth by vertical
- Assist the team in cultivating an ecosystem of partners that help enhance our product portfolio and brand awareness
- Provide regular feedback to Marketing and Product Management leadership that helps improve our product market share
- Continuously building relationships at all levels of the end users consultants general contractors and systems integrators throughout North America
- Conduct demos host regional marketing events and attend national tradeshows
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma required. Bachelors degree in Business or a related business or technical area preferred
- 5 years of verifiable End User Business Development experience in Commercial Audio and Pro Sound Reinforcement
- Required indepth vertical knowledge in specific areas such as Large Event Spaces Arenas and Stadiums Hospitality Houses of Worship Higher Education Theaters Auditoriums Large Conference Centers and Live Sound
- Accustomed to prospecting using RFP documents and conducting RFI processes
- Experienced in reading system specifications and project drawings while converting them to BOM
- Comfortable with using CRM tools prospecting engines conducting sales admin duties in a timely manner
- Demonstrates strong work and business ethics with an entrepreneurial mindset
- A strong ability to establish a consultative role and credibility with end users
- The ability to build internal Bosch relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills which include both verbally and digitally and with the ability to tailor communications depending on the audience
- Comfortable working proactively approaching new relationships to establish a stakeholder community on a focus vertical market
- Ability to prioritize in a fastpaced environment and collaborate with crossfunctions teams to drive results
- Experience with software applications including Microsoft Office (i.e. Word Excel PowerPoint OneNote Outlook and Teams) and Power BI
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some technical experience with Professional Sound Reinforcement and Digital Signal Processing along with AVIXA CTS certification is preferred

- The U.S. base salary range for this fulltime position is $115000 to $125000 plus commission.
