Job Description
Are you a motivated histotechnologist searching for a position in a highly collaborative dynamic environment in a company with a great culture This might be an opportunity for you! We are seeking an individual who will perform histology for immunology drug discovery programs. The successful candidate will work in a group providing research support in target validation target distribution animal model development pharmacology and exploratory safety studies. Being detailed oriented is critical to this role. Specific activities will include routine histology (e.g. tissue trimming tissue processing embedding and sectioning of paraffin embedded and frozen tissues) routine and special histochemical staining and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Additional tasks include using computerbased laboratory tracking system (Sample Manager) Dream Path and a willingness to get creative when working with novel tissues or challenging pathology endpoints. The candidate must independently schedule and prioritize workload to manage several tasks. Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent education with typically 3 or more years experience or Masters Degree or equivalent education (no additional experience). in Biology/Chemistry or related field preferred.
Microsoft office skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Histotechnologist Certification (HTL)
HT (ASCP) certification
Skilled at tissue grossing embedding FFPE and OCT sectioning required
Experience with sectioning tissues for advanced molecular techniques including spatial transcriptomics platforms would be helpful
Ideally 35 years of experience within a histology/ pathology laboratory

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our shortterm incentive programs.
