Job Description

Analytics and Reporting Manager will lead the development and enhancement of Operations reporting to support strategic decisions and drive the performance of Guardants Screening Operations Unit. This role collaborates closely with senior stakeholders in the SVP of Operations organization to track and report on performance metrics. The role encompasses executive supply chain manufacturing and laboratory operations reporting. Additionally this role will spearhead efforts to standardize and centralize the operations reporting ecosystem implementing industry best practices for performance reporting and insights generation. This is an individual contributor role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional commercial teams including Product Supply Chain Laboratory Operations and Manufacturing to design and create dashboards tailored to business needs.
  • Design and develop dashboards to meet a wide range of operational needs including assay performance cost of goods inventory and build optimization etc.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor operational performance against goals ensuring targets are attained.
  • Connect reporting insights together to tell a compelling and persuasive story and deliver clear and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Provide thought partnership in building and standardizing the operational reporting ecosystem.
  • Implement robust data validation processes and maintain strong data governance standards to ensure consistency accuracy and compliance across all reporting efforts.
  • Drive innovation in data visualization and reporting by exploring new tools technologies and methodologies to enhance reporting capabilities.

Qualifications :

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing business statistics data science engineering analytics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau SQL Excel
  • Familiarity with database management and data warehousing
  • Familiarity with a statistical tool
  • Familiarity with operational software (e.g. ERPs LIMS)
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data sets create compelling narratives and offer strategic recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Project management and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization including up to our CEO.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in data science or a related field
  • Analytics experience (especially in biotech or diagnostics industry)
  • Prior consulting and / or life sciences background.


Additional Information :

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health we have defined days for inperson/onsite collaboration and workfromhome days for individualfocused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled inoffice days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant our work model has created flexibility for better worklife balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

For positions based in Palo Alto CA or Redwood City CA the base salary range for this fulltime position is $144200 to $194670. The range does not include benefits and if applicable bonus commission or equity.

Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including but not limited to jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however there may be exposure to high noise levels fumes and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
