- Partner with leadership to identify and address areas to improve efficiency and benchmark with industry best practices.
- Become a process owner; critically review specific processes with outstanding attention to detail and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Learn continuous improvement methodologies (i.e. PPI Six Sigma and others).
- Align with all company safety training and quality regulations (i.e. ISO compliance GLP/GMP requirements etc. and procedures.
- Execute experimental plans analyze data and create technical reports and product summaries.
- Investigate new methods/technologies and maintain accurate lab notebook to support protection of intellectual property in accordance with relevant Thermo Fisher required standards.
- Partner with other functions including Business Development Quality Operations Technical Services and/or Marketing in the commercialization of new products.
- Graduate student completing aDoctoratedegree atUWMadison.
- 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.
- Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity innovation involvement and intensity.
- Energized through championing change driven in getting results and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is .This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
