The Highline College Education department is actively looking for parttime Early Childhood Education faculty. Teaching assignments include evenings weekends online and inperson courses.


SUMMARYOFKEYRESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching: Create a welcoming and supportive learning environment and use evidencebased practices to improve the success of diverse students; in collaboration with colleagues identify and implement strategies designed to close equity gaps experienced by students from historically minoritized groups. Engage in selfreflective practice. Classes will be offered evenings weekends online and inperson.

Service & Collaboration: Attend department meetings advisory committee meetings and other communityled events as requested.

Professional development/ ongoing professional learning: Engage in ongoing professional learning. This includes remaining current in your discipline and evidencebased practices for culturally response inclusive and antiracist pedagogies; Complete and maintain all appropriate certifications including VocationalTechnical Certification
