The New Nurse Graduate provides specialized nursing care at one of DCIs incenter hemodialysis or hospital services units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.

Schedule: Potential fulltime shifts vary from four 10hour shifts or three 12hour shifts and are set upon hiring. InCenter RNs have Sundays off; no overnight shifts.

Pay: $32$34/hr

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

  • DCI provides a 3month comprehensive education program including classroom group sessions job shadowing and oneonone skills training
  • Monitor patients during dialysis assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
  • Prepare dialysis machine and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
  • Ongoing patient education training and health coaching including relevant documentation
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications under supervision of registered nurse
  • Participate in patient care conferences rounds and chart reviews
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance
  • Contribute to training new staff members as directed
  • Additional tasks as requested

Qualifications

  • Ability to problem solve

Education/Training:

  • Accredited nursing degree required
  • Dialysis experience not required job shadow opportunities available
  • New graduates encouraged to apply
