The WW Pricing CX within the Price Perception and Evaluation Org is looking for a seasoned Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (Sr. BIE) to help us build report on and analyze metrics for our business we support all Amazon programs and geographies worldwide.
In this role you will lead efforts to identify and drive projects to increase Amazons understanding and influence of pricing. You will develop regular business reporting to baseline current performance and deepen our insights across customer segments and product types. You will help to establish measurements that will be used when running experiments to measure the impact of the experiments on price perception. You will help to influence the development of new models that will influence the way we display products. You will collaborate across teams to develop capacity reporting for project and operational overhead for existing and emergent workflows. You will help define the data pipeline and selfservice tools and driving insights for Pricing CX shown on Amazon. These Pricing CX provide contextual information to Customers about pricing. You will present your work in a variety of forums including documents that will be reviewed by L10 stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a motivated selfstarter that can work independently in a fast paced ambiguous environment with limited supervision. You must be a fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances of Amazons varied pricing programs and processes. You need to be analytical in your decision making with a demonstrated ability to drive issues to completion.

As part of this role you will
Work closely with the partner BIEs data engineers PMs econ and ML teams to identify and address issues and opportunities.
Facilitate and participate in the Price Perception BIE sprint planning and process
Analyze key metrics to uncover trends and root causes of issues answer business questions on key Pricing CX trends worldwide but also to ask the right ones.
Build metrics to measure key inputs and output metrics that drive Amazon price perception
Develop deep dive tools for key metrics.
Setting the standard in business intelligence for the organization establishing best practices and aligning teams and orgs toward simple coherent approaches.
5 years of professional or military experience
5 years of SQL experience
Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience building measures and metrics and developing reporting solutions
Experience programming to extract transform and clean large (multiTB) data sets
Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience using Cloud Storage and Computing technologies such as AWS Redshift S3 Hadoop etc.
Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
