Seeking GIS Developer candidates with relevant Energy Science and Technology Research Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy Science and Technology Research Sector Clients such as DOEOP. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W2 (IRS1099 Mapping Support Functional Area Energy Technical Consulting Position; however ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a FullTime ProSidian employed W2 Position.

Provide services and support as a Energy Technical Consulting (GIS Developer) in the Energy Science and Technology Research Industry Sector focussing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as Department of Energy (DOE OP) DOE Office of Policy (OP) Generally Located In CONUS Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES GIS Developer Mapping Support DOEOP073078
Develops and maintains Geographic Information System (GIS) tools to support mapping and analysis needs. Align with Mapping Support Functional Area initiatives as a GIS Developer that Design and maintain geospatial mapping applications including automating data updates using scripts and advanced tools.. Provide Public Comment Review Data Analysis Modeling Evaluation Mapping Forecasting And Report Development Data Tracking Tools Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP). These services enable mission objectives involved with renewable energy fossil fuels nuclear energy hydrogen biofuels carbon capture energy storage grid modernization energy efficiency and sustainable infrastructure technologies.
