Job Description
This purpose of this position is to perform administrative and clerical functions related to transportation shipping/receiving inventory and other warehouse processes.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and sorting of scheduling orders
- Management of duplicate orders
- Communication with sales & customers via email/phone
- Attend scheduled safety and GMP meetings
- Scheduling of deliveries
- Management of order/delivery documentation
- Update the Shift Supervisor on packaging supply status
- Review orders and select product for each load following FIFO
- Filing and scanning of any relevant documentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety food safety environmental GMP rules regulations and policies
- Perform clerical duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager
- Support and back up to Transportation Specialist

- Must be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines

- Must be team oriented
Qualifications :
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
Equipment/Software Skills: Proficient (or ability to become proficient) use of Word/Excel and various inventory system.
Additional Information :
Physical: Must be able to walk throughout the plant to include walking and climbing up/down stairs and ladders (portable fixed).
Sensory: Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual hearing speaking smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals temperature etc.
Mental/Reasoning: Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization.
