Learning & Development Coordinator (April to September Contract)
We are seeking a highenergy and versatile individual to join our team as a Learning and Development Coordinator at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. In this role you will be dedicated to fostering employee growth and development through the planning communication and of training programs.

This role requires confidence and the ability to comfortably present trainings to groups of 8 to 100 participants ensuring every session is impactful and memorable.
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Talent & Culture responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate and deliver a worldclass onboarding experience for several hundred new colleagues including organizing communicating and facilitating their twoday orientation to the hotel
- Assist with the preparation setup teardown and running of all training sessions
- Design appealing training advertisements using Canva
- Track departmental attendance and training task completion
- Communicate consistently with leaders regarding departmental completion of training tasks and attendance
- Assist with the creation and implementation of training materials and presentations
- Champion the administration of the INES platform (Accor Talent & Culture System) which assists with record keeping training classes and leadership performance development/reviews
- Other duties and travel as assigned
Qualifications :
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in learning and development and facilitation is required
- Experience in creating and implementing training materials is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint etc. is required
- Experience in the luxury hotel/hospitality industry asset
- Experience in Human Resources/Talent and Culture is an asset
- University or College degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management Human Resources Education or a related discipline is an asset
- Proficiency with graphic design software such as Canva is an asset

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
