We are currently searching for a Remote AWS Integration Engineer:
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using AWS EventBridge Step Functions AWS Glue DynamoDB and Secrets Manager.
- Utilize Python for developing and maintaining data applications.
- Implement and manage REST API calls for integrating various data sources and services.
- Source and process data from Snowflake using AWS services.
- Write and optimize SQL queries capture Change Data Capture (CDC) from Snowflake tables and invoke downstream applications via API calls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data integration requirements.
- Optimize data workflows for performance scalability and reliability.
- Ensure data security and compliance managing sensitive information with AWS Secrets Manager.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments using Azure DevOps.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth operation and timely data delivery.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in AWS services including EventBridge Step Functions AWS Glue S3 AWS Lambda DynamoDB and Secrets Manager.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with REST API development.
- Experience sourcing data from Snowflake and processing it using AWS services.
- Expertise in SQL query optimization CDC capture from Snowflake tables and API integrations.
- Strong background in data modeling ETL processes and SQL.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desired
- AWS certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and deployment management as well as GitHub Enterprise.
- Experience with metadatadriven load patterns in AWS.
- Knowledge of other AWS services like RDS.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English.
- Native Spanish.
