Responsibilities
Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist job duties:
- Performs venous arterial and capillary blood collection processing and delivery of specimens to departments within Trinity Laboratory. Consistently demonstrates attention to detail in following protocol for patient sample and identification and labeling.
- Educates others and maintains knowledge of departmental functions policies and procedures including AIDET and Focus value.
- Assists with training new employees and being helpful and supportive in the teaching of new associates.
Qualifications
Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Participants will be enrolled in Trinity Colleges 7 Week Phlebotomy Certificate Program
