Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Claims Adjuster handling. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of commercial general liability and a strong understanding of the amusement industry.
Responsibilities:
- Review claim and policy information to provide background for investigation and determine coverage analysis
- Contact interview and obtain statements from insureds claimants witnesses physicians attorneys and other relevant parties
- Inspect and appraise damage for property losses or arrange for such appraisal
- Evaluate facts supplied by investigation to determine extent of liability of the insured and the carriers obligation under the policy contract
- Become an expert in the standards that apply to our clientele in the amusement industry
- Handle unrepresented through litigated commercial files with dedication to training over time to become certified in various disciplines associated with the amusement industry
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of commercial general liability 70 GL 25 auto 5 inland marine)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with ImageRight and Sagitta software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence in coverage knowledge and the ability to handle pushback from attorneys
Daytoday:
The Sr. Claims Adjuster will be responsible for reviewing evaluating and negotiating claims as well as staying updated on industry standards and certifications. This role will involve a combination of office and remote work with occasional travel required.
