Job Description
Nurse Practitioner NP ProgressiveHealth Occ Health LLC Timmonsville SC
ProgressiveHealth is looking for a PRN Nurse Practitioner to join our team supporting a major manufacturing client in Timmonsville SC. This position will provide occupational health surveillance injury prevention and health improvement services at an onsite health clinic for employees. What will you be doing in this role
- Providing direct onsite patient care services and professional services to meet clientrequested coverage hours
- Delivering occupational acute and preventative health care to employees
- Conducting patient assessments histories and physical exams
- Prescribing medications and medical treatments based on evidencebased practice standards
- Collaborating with nursing staff and the operations team to implement protocols formularies and emergency plans
- Providing guidance and education to additional clinical staff as appropriate

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Board Certification
- Active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner in state of practice location
- Not currently have any professional disciplinary proceeding of any state or federal authorities or to any disciplinary action of any medical facility in any jurisdiction
- Has never been excluded suspended or otherwise sanctioned by Medicare Medicaid or any other thirdparty payor nor listed on any state or government list of excluded individuals parties or specially designated nationals list as debarred excluded or otherwise ineligible for participation in government healthcare programs.
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel
- A healthcare provider must hold a valid and ingoodstanding license and/or certification to practice in the State or Country where the facility of employment is located; or be eligible to obtain such a license and have current CPR/AED/BLS certification.
- If clinical operations require writing prescriptions for controlled substances a valid DEA license is required.
