Job Description
RPOs client is actively seeking an experienced InHouse Channel Controller to join their team inCape Town.This is an exciting opportunity for a detailoriented freight and logistics professional who thrives in a fastpaced environment and has a strong background in air and sea freight operations. This is a fulltime onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage endtoend freight operations (Air & Sea Imports and Exports).
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Prepare and submit documentation for customs clearance.
- Ensure all freight shipments comply with customs regulations and procedures.
- Maintain daily status reports and communicate delivery updates.
- Resolve delivery or freightrelated issues quickly and effectively.
- Serve as liaison between freight forwarder and client to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years experience in freight forwarding or logistics (Air & Sea).
- Matric (Grade 12 qualification.
- Own transport is essential.
- Strong knowledge of tariffs Incoterms rates and shipping documentation.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
- High proficiency in Excel and general computer literacy.
- Ability to multitask and handle a highpressure environment.
