The Best Western Plus is a 65 room hotel in Chalmette Louisiana .The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at thehotel to daytoday staff management and guests. He / She should be anambassador for the brand and your hotel. Provide leadership and strategicplanning to all departments in support of our service culture maximizerations and guest satisfaction. Essential Functions
1. Oversee the operations functions of the hotel daily.
2. Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controlsSOPs policies procedures and service standards.
3. Handle and complete all guests concerns immediately.
4. Handling complaints and oversee the service recoveryprocedures.
5. Manage ongoing profitability of the hotel ensuring revenueand guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
6. Closely monitor the hotels business reportson a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.
7. Prepare a weekly and monthly financial reporting.
8. Overseeing and managing all departments and workingclosely with department heads on a daily basis
9. Pass and respond to QA / BSA audits to ensurecontinual improvement is achieved and property passes perbrand standards Audit.
10. Responsible for safeguarding the quality of operationsboth (internal & external audits).
11. Responsible for Occupational Health & Safety Actfire regulations and other legal requirements.
