Job Description
Description
- Performing a variety of technical functions in support of engineering activities such as troubleshooting test modification assembly and maintenance and repair of electronic systems and other specialized avionics equipment
- Evaluating components subsystems test equipment and software providing technical support to Air Force customers on operations and maintenance of assigned communications/surveillance equipment
- Performing aircraft installation troubleshooting and testing of equipment
- Supporting aircraft flight test and engineering evaluations of new systems and system configurations
- Assisting in training junior level electronics technicians and Air Force personnel to perform general fabrication assembly test and evaluation and documentation tasks
- Deploying worldwide with AFSOC personnel in support of exercise and contingency operations including hostile environments
- 5075 travel may be required

Requirements
- Minimum of four years of aircraft avionics maintenance experience JTWS equipment experience or equivalent DoD SIGINT experience
- Must be able to operate as a single maintainer at either CONUS or OCONUS locations to include hostile areas
Desired Skills
- Eight 8 plus years of experience with AFSOC AF or DoD SIGINT/COMINT EW Guidance & Control or Comm/Nav systems
- Knowledge of AF and AFSOC organizational structure
- Knowledge of DoD SIGINT/COMINT employment concepts. Familiarity with USAF AFSOC aircraft maintenance concepts practices and procedures
- CompTIA Security certified
Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY
