Position Overview
We require a fulltimeLodge Attendant who is responsible for dealing with booking related inquiries from current and future guests while maintaining overall guest satisfaction and for the cleanliness and presentation of rooms public areas and linens.
Wage: $18.00$19.00 per hour
Shifts: Fulltime Permanent 8hours
Key Responsibilities
- Handle reasonable complaints/ requests with professionalism and patience.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any companyrelated practices.
- Greet customers listen and understand requests respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information such as outlet hours and local attraction.
- Complete the registration checkin and checkout procedures.
- Assist guests with payment transactions and ensure proper methods of payment are taken and processed accurately.
- Promptly answer the telephoneusing positive professional fluently in English.
- Utilize the company computers and reservation software to input and receive information.
- Remain calm and alert especially during an emergency and/or heavy hotel activity and resolve complications such as location changes or credit issues.
- File guest complaints and inquiries; conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results.
- Execute room cleaning following Basecamp Resorts standards as well as Managers instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas such as linen closets common storage rooms etc.
- Maintain a clean guest ready working environment.
- Wash sort and fold linens.
- Ensure laundry chemicals are stocked up and are dispensing correctly throughout each shift.
- Responsible for all linen and towel inventories.
- Ensure that time is directed at stained and reclaim inventories. Helping to extend the life of the products.
- Remove and record damaged product each week and report to the Laundry Supervisor or Director of Operations.
- Maintaining cleanliness of laundry.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrate organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Able to work well independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Take initiative in solving problems.
- Excellent guest services skills.
- Promote positive relationships in communication and cooperation with all coworkers and guests.
- Able to perform repetitive physically demanding tasks; standing for long periods of time bending crouching kneeling reaching.
