Job Description
Extreme Engineering Solutions (XES) is seeking a second shift CNC Machinist to join our team. This position requires knowledge on conversational programming machine operation and maintenance of a Vertical Machining Center as well as how to efficiently execute the machining process. This is a secondshift position with flexible scheduling paid training and good benefits.
Second Shift Schedule: Employees will work four 10hour shifts from Monday to Thursday scheduled between 3:00 PM and 1:00 AM. With manager approval there may be flexibility in start and end times.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate Haas VFseries VMC for machining of aluminum and copper components.
- Troubleshoot and execute initial machine/part setups.
- Set up tooling and materials to support machining production.
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) on fabricated parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on all shop equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate).
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona WI.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience as a CNC machinist or technical degree in CNC Machining with a two or more years as a CNC machinist preferred.
- Familiarity with a Haas VF series VMC is a plus.
- Ability to use precise measuring equipment to perform FAIs.
- Computer proficiency and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis.
- Experience in an ISO9001 environment is a plus.
