Job Description
Note: You MUST have your own car and MUST be eligible for Federal Work Study for this job. To tutor preschoolers and elementary students in the area of reading. Establish and follow a consistent schedule of attendance Aid classroom teachers in the instruction and practice of reading Work in small groups and oneonone with children Be familiar with and work within the parameters of all FERPA regulations Abide by all University policies Student positions are open to individuals enrolled in a minimum of 6 TRAD credits at UNW .
Required Qualifications
Able to read well out loud work well with children and sit for short periods of time Must be dependable neat organized and able to take initiative Able to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional tactful and courteous manner Must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm when working with young children Understanding of and agreement with University of Northwesterns Declaration of Christian Community and Doctrinal Statement is essential
