Full time Lead Veterinarian New Opportunity Sign On Bonus Spring Hill FL
A partner hospital in Spring Hill FLis seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a wellequipped facility with a supportive team providing highquality care to animals in a familyfriendly environment.
Responsibilities of the Lead Veterinarian:
- Medical Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to animals including diagnosis treatment and surgeries.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the veterinary team helping with staffing scheduling and training.
- Patient Management: Oversee medical care for all patients and ensure proper documentation of records.
- Client Interaction: Consult with clients regarding their pets health and educate them on treatment options.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the practice manager and hospital leadership to maintain medical quality and meet goals.
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMAaccredited institution or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong clinical leadership and communication skills.
- Active license in good standing to practice in Florida or the ability to obtain a license in the state.
