Job Description
Do you like making a difference and having fun while working Southeastern Directions for Life has animmediate opening for a fulltime or parttime Direct Support Professional to work inone of ourgroup home settings with individuls with developmental mission is empowering peopleto discover their directions for life in a changing world.
This position starts at $16.00 an hours are2pm10pm 3 nights a week and every other weekend.
JOB SUMMARY:Our mission is to educate and support individuals to discover their directions for Support Professionals (DSPs) are key role models for the individuals who receive services from Southeastern Directions for Life. DSPs assist individuals to lead selfdirected lives assist individuals in becoming an active part of their community advocate for the individuals served to communicate their needs and goals and work directly with individuals to teach them selfcare social skills and communication skills. DSPs provide assistance with activities of daily living skills development health maintenance medication administration personal care and behavioral development. Must be able to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma/ have a current drivers license car insurance and a driving record acceptable to Southeasterns insurance pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting Dept. of Social Services Central Registry check Motor Vehicle background check and drug screening.
