POSITION DESCRIPTION The Quality Management System Specialist primary responsibly is to oversee maintain and continually improve Sellmarks 3rd party certified ISO9001 Quality Management System. You will work closely with all workstreams to share ISO awareness resolve issues and implement improvement activities. The role will maintain a current working knowledge regarding applicable regulation and ISO industry standards. The QMS Specialist will work closely with the Quality Manager and crossfunctional teams to enhance overall product quality and adherence to regulatory requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS Lead the development implementation and maintenance of the ISO9001 Quality Management System throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards by conducting internal audits and managing external audits by certification bodies. Develop and maintain quality documentation including quality manuals procedures work instructions and records in accordance with ISO9001 requirements. Facilitate and Lead Management Reviews to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and drive continual improvement initiatives. Provide training and guidance to employees on quality management principles processes and procedures. Use objective evidence to identify and address quality issues nonconformities and customer complaints through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of the QMS and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with all workstreams to implement quality initiatives drive process improvements and ensure customer satisfaction. Stay current with industry best practices trends and developments in quality management and ISO9001 standards. Coordinate with business process owners/leads to ensure training records and process deliverables are effectively controlled. Conduct reviews to enhance document control that promotes operational alignment. Coordinate with the Procurement Team and vendors to manage supplier quality and processes for monitoring their compliance. Ensure satisfactory performance in all areas of the quality management system. Utilize internal project management and learning management systems to promote organization.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises Quality Management System
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in business or related field or 5 years of experience working as Quality Management Systems Lead. Minimum of 5 years of industry or related experience required. CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS AS/ISO Lead Auditor Training 40hour course preferred) QUALIFICATIONS ISO9001 Quality Management System knowledge at internal ISO auditor level. Extensive knowledge of quality management best practices root cause and corrective action defect elimination. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with our executive leadership team. Selfmotivated proactive results oriented with problemsolving ability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to effectively prioritize time to meet goals and deadlines. Experience with lean manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of hunting and outdoor products is a big plus. Must have a high level of integrity and strong work ethic. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing this jobs duties the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods. The employee will be required to bend twist reach push pull and operate hand tools (may include operating heavy machinery) and office machinery. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. WORKING CONDITIONS Some work will be performed in a nonclimatecontrolled environment. The employee may be exposed to severe inclement weather and varying degrees of extreme temperature. The employee may be exposed to industrial chemicals and cleaning agents strong odors and loud noises.
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS Schedules will vary depending on business needs and may entail working nights weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours.
