InProcess Inspector

We seek a meticulous and experienced InProcess Inspector to ensure our highquality manufacturing standards are upheld.
The InProcess Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections of precisionmanufactured components and assemblies during various stages of production. This role requires a keen eye for detail strong knowledge of inspection tools and techniques and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform inprocess inspections of machined assembled and fabricated components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings specifications and industry standards.
Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers micrometers height gauges and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) to verify dimensional accuracy.
Interpret blueprints GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and technical documentation.
Document inspection results and generate reports including nonconformance reports (NCRs) when necessary.
Collaborate with machinists engineers and quality personnel to identify and resolve manufacturing discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Maintain inspection records and assist with internal and external audits.
Recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
3 years of experience in inprocess inspection within an aerospace defense or precision machining environment.
Strong proficiency in using precision measurement tools and interpreting engineering drawings.
Knowledge of GD&T principles and AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards.
Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel) and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required due to government contract requirements.
