Position Objective
Support and service the room attendants and maintain cleanliness throughout the inn.
Essential Functions
- Turndown: Refresh guest bedroom bathroom and common areas. Remove used towels and replace. Layout bathrobe and slippers and ensure ice water and turndown chocolates are placed. Set lighting to standards. Ensure trash is removed and fresh glassware is placed
- Respond to guest requests as needed and according to Goodstone policy to include making and delivering roll away beds making sofa beds and basic guest request needs
- Rearrange exposed toiletry / cosmetic items and neatly displayed to Goodstone standards
- Perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures vacuuming mopping sweeping shampooing carpets washing windows emptying carts of soiled linens cleaning/waxing floors removing and disposing of trash insects and debris and emptying ashtrays
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned
- Clean designated areas including but not limited to restrooms public areas hallways stairwells pool area offices
- Ensures the guest room is set up appropriately for the guest and adjusted whenever necessary. This includes making beds cleaning bathrooms dusting vacuuming and mopping washing dishes and other necessary cleaning to ensure guest ready
- Assist in cleaning any Occupied or Vacant Dirty rooms independently or with team members
- Efficient knowledgeable sincere dependable detailoriented and enthusiastic. A positive attitude and an eye for detail
- Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered
- In addition to the performance of the essential functions this position may be required to perform a combination of other supportive functions throughout the property
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or knowledge skills
- Physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds (occasionally)
- Physically able to reach stretch bend and walk during the daily routine with the ability to stand for long lengths of time
- Previous experience cleaning homes or hotels preferred; training will be provided
- Ability to assist customers and guests when needed
- Pays attention to detail when cleaning
- Organized and able to follow a schedule
- Ability to follow verbal directions
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including Mid PM shifts weekdays weekends holidays

The employee frequently is expected to stand for long periods; walk; climb stairs comfortably; use hands to finger; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to lift product supplies of up to 50 pounds occasionally. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
