partner staffing on behalf of our Client we are seekinga skilled Electrical Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee electricalconstruction activities for municipal water and wastewater projects inEdmonton AB. This role involves managing all aspects of electricalconstruction ensuring compliance with safety standards projectspecifications and timelines while delivering quality results.
Requirements
KeyResponsibilities:
- Supervise electrical construction activitiesincluding installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems forwater and wastewater facilities.
- Monitor project schedules and milestones ensuringtimely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate and oversee electrical contractorstechnicians and other site personnel.
- Foster a collaborative environment and ensure clearcommunication among stakeholders.
- Review and interpret electrical designs drawings andspecifications (e.g. singleline diagrams MCC layouts and control systems).
- Ensure proper installation of cable trays conduitslighting and instrumentation systems.
- Enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify andmitigate hazards.
- Ensure all work complies with project qualitystandards and client requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation including progressreports change orders and inspections.
- Collaborate with engineers project managers andclients to address technical concerns and project updates.
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Journeyperson ElectricianCertification or Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electricalconstruction supervision.
- Proven track record in municipal water/wastewaterprojects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems controlpanels and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and integration.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineeringdrawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolvingabilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manageteams effectively.
